Here, There, Over There

A group of people observe the city with binoculars from afar. Each person is given a postcard with a list of elements and situations that can be found from this specific viewing point.

50 residents enact situations in different locations in this landscape. They infiltrate into the daily life of the city: reading a newspaper, water being thrown into the sea, lines of people crossing a bridge, red clothes being hung out to dry, a car that passes every 5 minutes, or five people simultaneously sweeping their balconies and terraces. These choreographed actions are an addition to the elements that already exist in the city, such as the word “suerte”, a yoghurt pot or a chair.
