The double solo show takes the artist’s practice over the last decade as its starting point, while also revisiting earlier work to provide context and create new relationships. The exhibition’s title, Ukitu (Touch), alludes to the artist’s ability to disrupt and transform the contexts in which she works, as well as to the central role of touch in recent projects. It also refers to art’s affective dimension: to how we touch and allow ourselves to be touched.
